【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesrequirementsforconstructionanddescribesmethodsoftestforarmouredcablewiththermosettinginsulationofratedvoltages600/1000Vand1900/3300V.Cablesspecifiedinthisstandardareintendedforuseinfixedinstallationsinindustrialareas,buildingsandsimilarapplications.Theinsulationandothercomponentsaresuitabletopermitoperationofthecablesatamaximumsustainedconductortemperatureof90°Candforamaximumshort-circuitconductortemperatureof250°C.NOTE1Limitationonthetemperatureofthecablesmaybeimposedinsituationswheretheymaybetouched.NOTE2Duetotherelativelyhighconductortemperature,thereisariskofdryingoutthesurroundingsoil,causinganincreaseinthermalresistivity,whichinturnwouldleadtothecabletemperaturerisingtoahighervaluethananticipated.Forcablelaiddirectlyintheground,asuitablede-ratingfactorshouldbeappliedoralowermaximumsustainedconductoroperatingtemperatureassumedtotakeintoaccountthepossibleeffectsofsoildryingout.NOTE3Ininstallationswhichincludecablejointsandterminations,theperformanceoftheseaccessoriesshouldbetakenintoaccountindecidingthemaximumoperatingtemperatureofthecable.Cablesspecifiedinthisstandardare:single-corestrandedcopperconductor;single-coresolidaluminiumconductor;two-,three-,four-andfive-corestrandedcopperconductor;two-,three-,andfour-coresolidaluminiumconductor;multicoreauxiliarystrandedcopperconductor.b)1900/3300Vcables,wirearmouredandoversheathed,having:single-corestrandedcopperconductor;single-coresolidaluminiumconductor;three-corestrandedcopperconductor;three-coresolidaluminiumconductor.AnnexAgivesrecommendationsfortheselectionandoperationofcableswhilerecommendationsfortheinstallationofcablesaregiveninAnnexB.AnnexCliststheinformationthatshouldbegivenwithanenquiryororder.
