【摘要】:Theprimepurposeofthistestmethodistoprovidedataexpressedaseitherelectrophoreticmobilityorzetapotentialdistributionofproteinparticles.Bothsellersandpurchasersofproteinparticleswillfindthistestmethodusefultodetermineeithermobilityorzetapotentialdistributionsforproteinspecifications,manufacturingcontrol,anddevelopmentandresearch.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesaprocedurefordeterminingtheelectrophoreticmobilityofproteinsofmolecularweightgreaterthan10000Daltons.1.2ThistestmethodusesautomaticElectrophoreticLightScattering(ELS)principlestodeterminetheelectrophoreticmobility.1.3TheinstrumentsimultaneouslymeasurestheDopplershiftsofscatteredlightatfourdifferentanglestodeterminetheelectrophoreticmobilitydistributionofproteinparticles.Themobilityisexpressedasm-cm/V-s(micron-centimeter/volt-second).Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
